Opportunity Down the Drain

As from January 1, 2008 the Dutch government - pushed by the EU - mandated an Energy Certificate for every home sale. However, our government did not take sufficient notice of this matter and considered a sanction in the absence of the Energy Certificate is not necessary.
To our opinin this is a missed opportunity. Because with the Energy Certificate anyone can make an honest comparisson between two more or less equal houses based on the Energy consumption. Also, the energy conscience is enlarged and a few (relatively simple) home alterations can lead to a lower energy consumption. The benefits are evident.

Operations Discontinued

Effective immediately "Triple-T Power and Environment" discontinues all operations regarding Energy Certification. In 2008 we invested in training for Consultant Energy Efficiency Certificate and Consultant Custom Advice. Even the national exams, as required by the government, have been conducted succesfully.
The position of our government makes it no longer possible to perform as a Consultant. We see ourselves obliged to discontinue these operations.
